Complete skid mounted Tetra Pak Tetra Therm Lacta CS-CWF2 dairy pasteurisation unit for continuous processing and pasteurisation of cream (40%). The Tetra Therm Lacta is as standard automated to safeguard production. Main process sequences can be divided into the following main steps: pre-sterilistation / filling / production and circulation / intermediate cleaning / emptying and Cleaning-In-Place (CIP). Before production can commence it is necessary to sterilise the unit by circulating hot water for 20 minutes. After pre-sterilisation, the unit is cooled down and stabilised to production temperatures. When downstream equipment is ready, production can start.
The unit exist out of: open balance tank, product pump (Alfa Laval LKH-10/163 SSS 4,0 kW, 1996, serialnr 002902), Plate Heat Exchanger / PHE (Alfa Laval CLIP 6-RM, 5-sections, 1996, serialnr 30101-24481, pressure up to 10 bar, temperature up to 110 °C, volume: 59,1 liter) with regeneration sections (product is regeneratively pre-heated by the outgoing pasteurised product and later on cooled down by incoming product) and indirect hotwater set with brazed phe / steam valve and trap / expansion vessel for final heating to ensure even heating on the product (circulation pump Alfa Laval LKH-10/150 SSS 2,2 kW) and final water section for final cooling to reach the requested outlet temperature, holding tube of 3 seconds, flow diversion valve (automatic diversion of the product back to the balance tank when the pasteurisation temperature is too low), interconnecting piping / valves for product or utilities and stainless steel control panel with temperature recorder and operation controls.
Probable temperature cycle for this cream pasteurisation unit: 60 ° (inlet) - 95 °C (pasteurisation) - 3 seconds (holding) - 8 °C (outlet). Heat regeneration of this PHE: ± 80 %.
